How Do You Make the Most Money on Cam?

It’s true to say that the majority of Models are often drawn in by the amount of money they can make from the comfort of their own home. And there is nothing more important than how and when they will be paid! It is probably one of the most frequent questions asked by anyone wanting to start earning money in the Camming world. It also happens to be one of the most important aspects when deciding whether to work for a particular company or website.

How Many Types of Payment Are There?

There are numerous types of payment available and different ways of receiving your cash. It all depends upon which site you are working for. They range from a basic ‘take it or leave it’ offer, to more intricate methods. It’s usually based upon the faster you want the money, the more it’s going to cost you. Let’s look at a few ways of how you can receive payment.

Make the most and take Monthly Payments

Monthly payment will usually mean you receive the maximum there is to offer. It involves less administration and is more in line with most companies payment schemes. Although in many cases, you may be classed as self-employed, most companies will already have a monthly payment structure, so there is less cost for them.

What can vary, is the date you receive your monthly payment. Some companies may offer to pay you quite near to the beginning, such as within the first 7 days. Though it’s more likely to be during the 2nd week (between the 8th and 14th).

Monthly payments can be hard for some as it means you may have to wait up to 6 weeks to receive your earnings. You also must have an agreement (written in stone) with the company you are working for, to ensure you do get paid!

Are Fortnightly Payments a Better Option?

Some companies work on fortnightly (or twice monthly) payments. Although this can appear to be more attractive, you will not normally receive your earnings until 10 to 20 days after the closing date. You may also be charged more for being paid every 15 days. In some cases, you may not be given the option of an alternative payment period.

Can You Make Weekly Payments Work for You?

Weekly payments are a very popular choice (where offered). It normally means you’ll receive your money between 3 and 7 days after the closing period. It’s easy to follow and see where you are with your finances and for many the most comfortable way of receiving their earnings. It may cost a little more to be paid weekly but having a regular weekly payment can make all the difference.

Is the Daily Pay Option Really Worth It?

If you want your money as fast as you possibly can, then some companies will offer you Daily Payments. However, it comes at a cost! You will be charged a fee, or your earnings % reduced significantly for this option. It is useful if you have unexpected bills or really can’t wait for your earnings to be paid by any other method. However, you should make sure you know how much it is going to cost you!

You will be paying for the privilege of receiving your earnings so quickly and much the same as a loan, you can expect the costs to be high.

It’s a good idea to see whether the company or site that you work for make deductions for chargebacks. These occur when a customer disputes the costs and the Credit Card Company or Bank refuse to pay the seller.

Technically, the site is collecting money on your behalf. It then charges you a fee for this collection and the use of its platform to make the money. In most cases, the site will lose that income but may have already paid you. Chargebacks can occur many months after the original transaction, so you need to be sure that they do not pass these ‘costs’ onto you!
